Systems Services: Centralized Access to Residential Services (CARS Toronto)

CARS is Toronto’s only access point for residential beds for emotionally-disturbed children. Its work is overseen by the CARS Advisory Committee. CARS matches the needs of emotionally disturbed children and youth aged 6 to 18 with appropriate residential treatment beds.

We keep a complete registry of all Toronto beds for emotionally-disturbed children and youth funded through the Ministry of Children and Youth Services (MCYS). This data is used to assiste the community and MCYA in the planning of  future services.
