STARS at The Studio
STARS at The Studio is an LGBTQ* positive drop-in created by and for young people ages 13-21.
The Studio is open Mon-Thurs from 3:00-7:45pm.
An LGBTQ* youth drop-in takes place on the first Friday of every month from 3:00-7:45pm.
Youth can come hang out, play video games, watch movies and socialize, record music and make beats in the recording studio, or check out some workshops and groups. At The Studio we work together to create fun and interesting activities and workshops including the SESSIONS and subSTANCE drug education workshops, sewing, art making, dance, drag, sexual health workshops, discussion groups, field trips, and The STARS Project for LGBTQ* youth and allies. If nothing in that list stands out to you, let us know. This is your space and we are always open to suggestions!
The Studio celebrates the diverse experiences of youth and strives to create a community where all youth can get engaged in building allyship. Youth who come to The Studio have real decision-making power and are invited to help create the space, and build community in partnership with Studio staff.
Check out our calendar for program information and follow us on Facebook for day-to-day updates.
